Georgia. About 45 minutes northwest of Atlanta (1 and a half hours with traffic). Close enough to get to Atlanta, but far enough away from it not to be affected by it. Not a city person. :)

Man, you guys wouldn't believe how hot the girls are here in Surf City. So many of the best bods anywhere and by Jove, they love to show it off. The show goes on anytime during the summer up and down Main Street. They come in droves from all over SoCal for the annual US Open Surfing Championships or the AVP Pro Volleyball tournament. Simply mahvellous!
there's enough eye candy here to satisfy even Orvar (although they may be a tad young for his tastes).

Greetings to you spoutnik over there in gay paree.
Not quite sure about the hating and political stuff, this is not really the place. We come from all over and co exist fairly happily here.
I can help you with the pics, 80% or so of myarchives would be pre 1980 material mostly from mags and photos and not all were produced in colour.
As a babyboomer i don't mind the b/w, in fact don't a number of leading photo artists use and prefer b/w even today?
Not too long ago i was watching an old war movie when a young relative came in the room "What's THAT! Where did the colour go?? I'm not watching That old thing!"--young philistine, grew up with colour everything.

I know what you mean, kevin. As a matter of fact, color photos were pretty common in the 1940s; I have a few published color photos from the Lodz Ghetto taken in 1942 and 1943. By 1960 color was in common use in North America. Some magazines published color photos in black and white; you can, by studying the galleries, find many shots that were published both in color and in black and white.
But I tend to agree with photographers who still use black and white. For portrait shots you can get much clearer detail and contrast with black and white. Color film tends to make people look better than they do in reality.
And while porn may be tolerated across the political spectrum in Europe (I don't know that it is), in the US President Bush's party has been fighting against porn since the party was created, which is one reason they are so angry: Even when they are in office, they cannot reverse the tide. I understand that certain elements of the current parliamentary majority in France have been trying to turn back a couple of tides themselves, with as much success as Bush.
Come to think of it, Spoutnik, "The Battle of Algiers" is having a second rebirth here in the U.S.; is it as popular in France these days?

I hope the lad is planning to rely on Australian cinema, then, kevin. Last year among the highest earning films in the U.S., two were in black-and-white ("Letters from Iwo Jima" and "The Departed"). Come to think of it, "Letters" was also in Japanese. "Apocolypto" was in Quechua (following on Mel Gibson's success with a movie in Aramahic), and "Pan's Labyrinth" is doing very well in Spanish.
For anyone who hasn't seen the movie, "The Battle of Algiers" is about how an alien, totally ignorant and racist army, using torture, deceit, and terrorism managed to lose a war against a secular Arab force. And not a single American was involved!

James I feel sorry for you. I "lived" in Newfoundland for 30 years. But always longed to get back to the soggy west coast of Canada which was always my "home". I'm here now. In beautiful Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. (Okay, it's snowing right now; but in Victoria, snow means an inch or two; in St. John's, snow meant two or three feet.)

Off topic, but I can't resist... I'm hardly a male chauvinist (my wife would never have married me!) but once in a while you just have to bow to instinct and grab 'em, throw 'em down, and shag 'em 'til they beg you to stop... treat 'em like a toy... make them your object of pleasure and lust... :D
It's not anything I consider regular etiquette in bed, once in a while you just gotta get kinda primal... it's lots of fun, and my wife (and previous relations) have usually enjoyed it at those times too, so usually it's a win-win for all.

Some of the best flicks I've ever saw were in Black and White such as the CLASSIC "Bells of St. Mary's" to name just one. They haven't made movies of that caliber in many many years -- it's doubtful there will ever be any more.
a few years ago I was dating an adult model based here in Tennessee she actually perferred B&W photography.
