I am having problems using Firefox & IE on this site. Rabbit1 tried to help but he could not come up with any suggestion other than starting a new forum, as he was aware of other who have problems with viewing this site using Firefox.

In general I cannot use Firefox on this site, when I am logged in - if I do not log in, then I can use this site, but without the possiblity to reply on the forums.

Logged in all the subcategories in the gallery section will disappear, and I can only access in the drop down meny at the bottom of the page. I cannot view the forums etc.

For both browsers I have to do a detour in order to log out - through the main page in the forum section, scroll down the page and choose the line logout jng. Otherwise I cannot log out.

Does anyone experience the same kind of problems - and does anyone have a solution the solve the problems http://www.myarchives.net/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif

Same pb without solution ... I use IE on this site and it works well.
I have same "strange" display and behavior on other websites with Firefox, I think it's related with some code which is not fully html compliant but more microsoft IE specific.

Well, I am using IE as I have no alternative, unless I want to install another browser, but I am quite happy with Firefox, and this site supports Firefox (but not mine, obviously). The only site, that I know of, which does not support Firefox is my internetprovider, and in that case I cannot get past the first page. It must be some code related problem, I agree on that, but let us hope, that there might be some other, who can come up with a suggestion!!! http://www.myarchives.net/forums/images/icons/icon6.gif

Finally, I have managed to get Firefox to work without problems in MyArchives. Hopefully my solution can help others, so here is what I have done.

I installed and addon called Adblock Plus, and it helped. This site is now acting like I want it to act. No strange behaviour - at least for the moment.

I have had no problems with Firefox but I do use a firewall with adblocking which probably achieves the same result as JNG.
