What would you have us do? These files were uploaded and posted by
the many good members, who took the time and trouble to share them with us.
And for whatever reason, files don't last forever on these fileshare sites.
It took me a total of maybe twenty minutes to download and upload
a thirty two MB clip....just how long to do a huge split file movie?

Anyone taking the trouble to post deserves all our thanks. It seems they don't last long on rapidshare. Maybe other sites would be better, although I am not clear how many others there are.
To all those who have posted thank you - and let's have more pre-1960. The old folks got it right.

SIGH...life on the internet. These sharing sites come and go like a warm summer day. Best to grab movies when they first get posted as after that it is beyond our control.

a lot of these post are found on other sites and not uploaded by the poster here ----they just want to share their find with all of us ----so they have no control as to which file share site they are on ---or how long they will last ---all I can say is check in often and when a new one is posted grab it quick

dont get me wrong im not having a go at anybody, and i have only the greatest respect for those that post, its just a bit heartbreaking to search the files and than get a massive dissapointment ..christ i nearly had a heartattack when i saw the connie peterson post,but alas it was not to be :-(

please read my post about rapidshare.de, that will explain some things, another point, I upload and post many films, these get posted all over the place, this I can not control, when ever the links get deleted or corrupt I do try and re-upload, note a long film can take 3 days to upload, I only have 4 hours a day to do all this work.

Let's not forget all those wonderful people who are willing to post stuff here...although of late it seems like there's a contest going on to see who can post the most pictures ( glad I was not invited...my small collection wouldn't feed a mosquito!:biggrin: )

AND...let's not forget the moderators...those tireless, ever vigilant warriors who unceasingly patrol these archives; always ready to answer a dumb question from me...point out the right folder to a new member...even settle an argument about had a longer career ( and larger boobs :wink:). Without them, this vast area would becoume a wasteland...dried up and empty!

So, my hat is off to ALL of you:smile:

I would like to add my pennis worth and it is this to all those ungratefull people who do little else but moan that some of the threads do not work perhasps you you might stop and give this some thought it takes many hours of pataince to down load these films that some seem to think arrive they posted by the fairies ,
I trust that give credit flor all the ones that do work,
I look foreward to any comments whether complaintsd or other wise

Actually, RapidShare is ok. But a warning: If you want to have your posts on RS on a more or less permanent basis, you must have a premium subscription active. If you just use their free service, then you must stay active in there as, if you stop your activities for a month or two, any posts you put up will be deleted. I have been using them for several years now and never had a complaint. It is just a matter of perspective... and money to subscribe. LOL
