Hardcore fan, here. I'm into the wilder side of them, too (Sister Ray and other long improvisations). I have all their recordings that are in circulation.
Of interest to members of this site is that they took their name from a bondage and sadomasochism book that was lying in the street.

I don't have any interest in Lou Reed, but kudos for the offer! Now let me make you an offer. A Velvet Underground fan I once traded with sent me a shit load of Lou Reed bootlegs on FLAC DVDs even though I didn't want them.

Hello, I am a big fan of the Velvets and have CD's of many bootleged concerts from the late 60's quality varies but the energy and heart and right there.
