This is just a plea to all members.....PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE,before uploading pics just take a little time to check back and make reasonably sure that the pic has not been posted before (there are some on here that have been posted up to five times,same pic same size).I know it takes a little time to check back but it would make all our collections so much easier to manage,and makes the life of the mod's a little easier!!!!!!....thanks to everyone!!

Yes, I agree, I have said this before. I've said this before too: There is software out there that can scan through the stuff we have and display what pics are identical, allowing the mods to delete the duplicate posts.

it should be easier for a member to check now that the galleries are by model ---yes there is software to scan it but the number of pics on this site it takes a lot of time and and not all prorgrams are compatable with Vbul ---we have to be careful which ones we use or we risk them not supporting problems down the road ---the mods work hard to get every picture in the proper folder and members have been working hard reporting duplicates for us to remove ----with all of your eyes ---and our mods quick response I think it is better than any software program ---especialy since some of the duplicate pictures are named different ---and a software program would only go by file name --size ---thank you all for the help you have given us in spotting dups

Yes, Rabbit, and the software will detect pictures which are identical only. If you post a pic with 50kb and someone else posts the same pic, but his copy has 49.999kb, the software registers it as a separate, non-identical post.

It is soooo much easier for posters to check.

yep --and like I said with the moderators going thru and puting models by name it makes the search much easier

The Mods recently had a request from a Member to move all Darlene English's photos into her folder. The thing is there are literally 1000s of pictures scattered around the site which are not in their correct folders, including those of Miss English, and it is a long arduous process because you can only move one photo at a time. Add to that the tremendous amounts of reposts and the pictures with web site addresses and copyright notices on them, all of which need deleting and maybe it's possible to see what a huge task we Moderators have.

The simple answer would be to have more Moderators. I reckon 10 would be about right! :p So if anybody's interested please put your name forward to Winger or Rabbit. It's not a hard job and even if you just move 10 pictures per visit it's a great help. Plus you could sort out your favourite model's folder.

Also a big thanks to those members, who do report the reposts and web addresses--It is an art form in itself, to post properly, especialy in the bigger folders.
