Picture Protocol Question

Hi Moderators,

This site is wonderful!

However, I am unclear about the photo uploading protocol.

Many times I know (or think I know!) into which gallery a photo should be posted.

However, at times I'd like to solicit an id from the user community, so I have started a new thread and added the photos as attachments. My assumption is that I would later upload the photo to the appropriate gallery.

Is this the "right" way to do this activity?

Or is it preferable to just post the photo in my best guess gallery and let things flow from there? (Do the administrators move miscategorized photos?)

I suppose you can jump both ways here Geemahn, posting an ID Forum thread is ok, as is posting to the best suited gallery folder - It pays to spend some time going through the categories A's, B's etc. to get a feel for what is here and to familiarise yourself with the model ID's we have.
