I'll be danged if I can find (easily) a place in the site that states the "size posting limits" for this place?

I looked around, but my fumblings didn't turn up anything?

I know that when you post anything that is too large, you get a "posting error" message. Other than that, what is the posting limit for a given .jpeg/.gif/video?

Unless it's just me, should there be a more prominent display somewhere?

I'm not a Mod. or Admin., and no doubt they will be able to answer in more detail particularly in respect of posting in the Galleries (I couldn't find any info for that).

However, when posting pictures in the Forum - 'Go Advanced' - below which is an area 'Additional Options' - under Attach Files is 'Manage Attachments' - this opens a small window to allow attaching files, scroll down and below is a list of file types / sizes /max. width and max. height.

Hope this helps.

Tony is correct as to the filesize limits for the forums - in the galleries the max size is just over 2 Mb's - that can be altered.

Thanx to all for the info. I tried to post yesterday and it was rejected (automatically, not by a Mod) probably because it was just over the limit?

Might be a good idea to have this info in an easily accessible place for all to know?

Also the size of an image is important. I think to remember when trying to post a Susanne Bregnø Christensen picture I had to limit it to below 1800 pixels in hight (and 1200 in with, but I don't know if this is the limit).
