Am i alone in being curious as to what became of the lovely ladies who appear on this site?
whatever happened to michelle Webber, Jen Swensen et al? where did they come from and where did they go? are they alive or have they passed away? does anybody out there know?

That´s a good question dear Peter...I wonder that also,Michelle Webber for instance or Jenny Svenson i´ve searched the net a lot for info but havent find any info at all really,that´s a bit odd i think beacause you can find info on Uschi Digard,Candy Samples,Pat Wynn etc...the list can go on.
If anyone has some info on Michelle or Jenny it would be great....

Peter, some of us on this board worked in the business decades ago, and some had passing acquaintances with the girls. A place to start might be the "Escorts" thread.

The topic you've opened is very broad because there were so many girls involved. Have you looked at the list of "User Galleries" lately? For the most part they were not so different from their contemporaries and they have just "blended" back into the population and went on with their lives. For most of them it was an episode, a small part-time job, or whatever. Almost all the girls had a "day" job and mostly they did the same things, liked the same things, and worried about the same things most 18-to-25 year old women worry about. They were also as different from each other personally as that many women would be.

So where do you want to start? Unfortunately, I never met and know nothing about either Michelle Webber or Jeanne Swenson. Usually a good place to start is to assume that everything that was written about them in the text that accompanied the pictures in magazines was nonsense, at least mostly. As an aside and in fairness I should note that on one occasion regarding a model I knew very well, Parliament published a single-issue magazine about her that contained a lot of detailed and accurate information about her, which was a real surprise.

The only model I really know a lot about is the model known as Mary Waters. She modelled for about six months in 1976, worked only with one photographer (Lance Kincaid), and lived happily and unhappily ever after like the rest of us. She was 23 when she modeled and had been divorced and had three children. Until about a year ago (the last time we talked) she was working for a health insurance company in a large city on the West Coast of the US. She is 52 and weighs less now than when she posed.

Other than that, I know bits and pieces about others, a lot of which is public knowledge. Candy Morrison's real name is Vivian Cournoyer, she's married, lives in Southern California, was originally from England, and occasionally shouws up under her real name in geneology websites trying to track her British ancestors. Darlene English (not her real name; she wants to stay private) got married around 1982 to a guy who was considerably older and considerably rich.

Kitten Natividad has pretty much stayed in the public eye and has her own web site. Likewise, as discussed elsewhere on this board, Michelle Angelo and Candy Samples have set up their own web sites. One of my very favorites is Mamie Van Doren, who has her own web site and she blogs a lot about her misspent youth, as in who she was sleeping with, along with a rating guide of sorts for former lovers.

Roberta Pedon is a whole separate issue. She was, IMHO, one screwed-up lady. Maybe someday...

Now, I'll be the first to admit that I really didn't get into viewing these great ladies until I got out of the Army in 1979...well, to be honest, add about 3 years to that time...1982-83. And, by then, as I recall, 90% of the ladies in the magazines were the 'then-current porn stars'; and I was attracted to them. It wasn't until I found this treasure house that I got into the older treasures of the 50's--70's. I have heard stories about this model or that model...but, nothing about Roberta Pedon, excapt She pulled a 'Howard Hughes'...and has not been seen since.

Could someone here please take a second out...and clue this old fool into what He knows not???

Maybe it's best not to dwell too much on what happened to which model or photographer, but to enjoy the fantastic legacy that they have all left behind. Roberta Pedon is the "JFK multiple theory" mystery of pinup girls.

Some sources say she passed away in the San Francisco Bay area in 1982 and others say she is/may still be alive.

As others have stated, at least we have her thousands of timeless images to preserve, share and enjoy.

For what its worth, if you read the postings by our lone model of the past member, Shannon, you will get an insight into some of these gals brief careers and their much more exstensive "regular" lives. Some sources dispute that Roberta and Rosma are/were the same person. Paper trails are inconclusive. All we have for sure are thousands of wonderful pictures and snippets of video.

Several researchers/authors, including Forum moderators, are trying to sift through the sources, myths and dead-ends to piece together a credible narrative.

It will be quite a search to find an actress with the physical assets and dramatic chops to play RP some day in the biographical feature film!

Just to throw another log onto the fire, apparently Marilyn Lange, my favorite Playmate of all time, is one of these disappearance mysteries.

My understanding is that PB barely caught up to her in 75 when she was awarded the PMOY, and they did a few pics of her then, but after that, she disappeared.

I've heard she had a breast reduction surgery (oh the humanity!) and is now married and living in Las Vegas with grown children.
