I truly thank each of you who have taken the time to upload the films in this forum.

I do have a question regarding some of the files. I am able to open and view the first segment of a few films (Confessions of a housewife, Le Cinema), but the ones after that, I can't open. It says it can't recognize the file format. Any ideas?

all depends on several things, if file shows:xxxx.avi then might be a codec problem or files need to be joined to play, a simple movie joiner program will do that task, if xxx.avi.001 then these are only playable after joining with hjsplit or similiar program.

my solution is hjsplit & movie joiner programs, then a good media player jetaudio is my favourite. if theres a problem outside these areas i use asf-avi-rm-wmv repair program.

hope some of that helps, lots of forums can help to " find " software.
