Due to Copyright laws we will no longer approve pictures with a copyright on them. We will be going back and removing the ones already posted.

Also our sponsor's have asked that Pictures with web addresses on them be removed and no longer accepted. They pay to keep this Forum free and they do not want to advertise other sites.

Also Tiger and I have defined Retro as anything before 1980----if the pictures you post look like they were made after 1980 they will from now on be removed.

Well Pre 1990 Pictures will now be accepted ---but only in the main gallery and only in a category with the models name on it

I have old Black&White promotional pictures taken back in the days of Burlesque. It does have an old studio stamp from the photographer.
Being somwhat challenged in getting pictures into and attached to emails I have submitted to to the board with the title "how about this rabbit" No need to post it with that heading I just want to look it over so I don't cuase you and tiger any more work.

One question about logos etc on postingsgs, is it ok? to post pics who for instance has say:Shine2000 on it or scanned by...whoever as long as they dont have any www etc addresses on them.
I can deeply understand that you don´t wont any pics whit lets say:trademark logos and www addresses etc on them...

Scanned by pics are ok---as long as there is no copyright on them----because the scanner does not hold a copyright on the pics

A quick positive comment - I like your policy of curtailing outside site names and having a strict vetting process (before images are posted). As it is, I know where I don't want to go on this site because directory heads make reasonable sense and very few piccies seem to end up in the wrong place. I've had all sorts of oddities including the dreaded popups elsewhere in the past and as your site seems clean of that sort of unpleasant rubbish all credit to you.

Ok, aside from all the copyright stuff and every thing, my beef is the celibrity fakes popping up. I recently created the celebrity nude category and been getting these fakes uploaded (Bardara Eden in particular). Rule should be, and I insist on this, NO FAKES, PERIOD and that's that. When I say celebrity nudes, I mean celebrity nudes. We should get the real thing here. If you moderators see anything that resembles a fake, forget it. In fact, any fakes that are there now (like Barbara Eden) should be deleted now. And I thank you for your support.

pictures that are after 1980 are deleted except in the before and after section

I'd like to point out that Members are still posting pictures with Web site addresses on them. These are not allowed on this site because they are advertising other sites. I've deleted a Dawn Knudsen picture this morning for this reason which grieves me a lot as she's one of my favourites! So don't do it folks.

Once in awhile, when my heart is particularly pained about deleting a pic, I take it and crop it myself and the re upload it. Dont do it often but once in awhile with the gals I particularly love.
I doubt we will ever see 100% compliance with the web addresses...nice thought though.

yep as most of the members never even look at the forum they just head straight to the gallery --so they do not read rules or anything else posted here ---there are a few who take the time to do so ---

Its actually pretty amazing as the majority of those that post these pics are members who have been around at least as long as me, if not longer...go figure...does the phrase "I just dont give a shit" seem accurate?

Much to my dismay in the last few days i have had to delete many images uploaded by those who should know better :( Please note that pictures with copyrights and web addresses cannot be posted here.They can be hard to see in a thumbnail, so just take your time and have a good look at what you are uploading.Thanks guys.

As a moderator I still have problems. The copyright for Bygone Media is especially hard for me to spot. It's big enough, but very low contrast.

Using 1980 as the cut-off for retro isn't so arbitrary as it seems. Before 1980, natural boobs clearly predominated; after, not so. Prior to 1980 most porn was magazine-based; after, mostly video.

sapergia, two simple rules you need to follow

1 pictures prior to 1980 may be posted in the Pre-1980 Vintage & Retro Categories without a model name in the title

2 pictures 1980 and later may be posted in the 1980s Pictures section but they must contain the model's name in the title

so a post 1980 "Mystery Lady" would not be allowed.

Your rules on logos and copyrights are very easy to understand. A couple of rules that anyone posting might want to observe is, if, see a circle c or if it says, www. just forget it. I do not feel that any member wants to put this site through anything like the legal hassles that other sites have experienced.
