Am having problems with HJSplit getting all the parts together. Can you post 1949Partygirl in its entirety. At cable speeds the whole video would download faster than the individual parts.

unfortanatly there is a 2mg limit on posts---I wish I could post it in its entirety--I have a few more of these and it is time consuming spliting them and then ziping each part. Are you sure You downloaded all 13 parts? if not it will not join properly.

Is there a special type of program I need to view these? Everything I try to use from Realplayer to Quick Time and it can't be played. I could never get AVI's to work either.

did you read the instructions at the top of the post----you must join all 13 sections of the file as instructed---then it will make one mpeg file---then and only then can it be viewed

Not to be disrespectful, I'm not to familiar with video. What is a JH Split? I have all 13 files downloaded and unzipped into one folder for now.

Thank you for posting the HJ Split but unfortunately it don't work for me. :( Not all 13 files are the same. File one which is all that HJ Split reconises has the Real Player emblem with the file. The other 12 have the Widow's Media and Quick time emblem's with the file names. I did get to see them smoke cigarettes and drink beverages with part one. I tryed looking at the "Read Me" and clicked on "Help" but there are no instructions there.

If there's a way to make all 13 files into Real Player please let me know.

When you open HJ split it will open a window with different choices ---Split---Join ---Checksum! click on Join----it will ask in the first part for file to join-----go to the directory using the little box on the right where the 13 split files have been extracted=====inside that directory it should show up as-----"""""1949Partygirl1.mpeg.01""""""""-----Highlight that file and click open------then down at the bottom left hit start---in a few seconds go to the directory and you will have a joined file named-----"""""1949Partygirl1.mpeg"""""' that is 16.4 mgs-----I can't make it any more simple that this---- I know it works cause I just did it step by step so I could decribe the process to you

I thank you for your help Rabbit1 but it still don't work for me. I only can open the first part. None of the other files show up.

File 1 is Real player format - The only one that shows up
File 2 is in Quick time format as well as file 7
File 3-6 and 8-13 is in Window's Media Player format.

I went to Real Player and made all video's Real Player as my default. Now none show up when I click the little box as you instructed.

I tried splitting one also. The first part came up Real Player, the second Window's Media and the third partQuick Time. I guess my system don't support it even though it's an xp.

However, for a user of a slow modem, it would be nice to know what it actually is before considering a download. Especially since it is impossible to download and view the first part as a sample or preview - all the parts need to be downloaded before anything can be viewed at all.

Who is this 1949 party girl - any well known model or starlet by chance? What's the "story" or "plot" of the movie?

And - most important - has this girl got big boobs???

It is a short old vintage b&w stag film---I do not know the models----It is just something I picked up on the net and put in my collection of vintage---I have several more---but the trouble this one has caused I doubt I will bother to post it

I have a few more but it takes time to split and Zip them---alot of members just do not understand how it works---looking at other splitting programs now

I understand how it works but sadly for me anyway, I use a Mac and exe. files do not run on Macs. :(
