I'll be the contrarian. The eys and upper face look just like her, circa 1950. I lean 51% "yes". I've never seen this shot of her, nor any like it, but her facial expression looks so much like the "Que Sera" outtakes...
Absolutely agree with you, Charliels531! I thought the same: the lost, pre-fame, soft-core ( pubic hair are visible ) photo of young Sofia Scicolone/Lazzaro made sirca '50.

I think the photo has been retouched around the face and not a good job at that. Not even close to Sophia. I have been mistaken in the past...there was that time back in the 70's :p

It looks very much like her. She did appear barebreasted in early movies such as Era Lui, Si Si, so it's not unlikely that she did a lot of pinup pics.

Driving me nuts. Kind of see a line at her throat, like either a necklace or a bad cut and paste photo alteration. WIll have to search for photos of her and see if I can find the same head shot to confirm. But I am leaning toward it being fake

Yeah...I believe that it's Her. She 'allegededly' did a bunch of 'cheese-cake' type photos back when She was first starting out. This is a classic pose for that style of photography.:cool:

I haven't commented before, but I am sure it is a 'fake' - the body in the photograph is too chunky for Sophia - particularly the legs which are much shorter and fatter than SL's.
The so called necklace is one of the standard ways to hide a cut and shut job.
