I'll give my definitions:
Classic being something like Candy Samples,Uschi Digard,Roberta Pedon,etc..
Retro being all things 60s,not much names,there is HairyNancy,of course:)
Vintage is about the same but older, anything from the start of the 20th century till the 50s tops, moslty b/w could be spread,beaver or hc.
Antique would be 19 to early 1920? mostly postcards or burlesque pix,not really special,except if ur into that..
ciao zushiomaru :rolleyes:

Greeting's All!
I have to agree with you on your opinion on Classic Zushiomaru!
Here are some of my idea's as to what each era is but I'm not an expert.
Retro = 1940 - 1965. Some model's from this era would be Betty Page, June Palmer, Jackie Miller and Donna "Busty" Brown.
Vintage = 1900 - 1940. Risque Postcards from lines such as JA Paris, GP Paris, PC Paris and Corona. This was also the era of the Ziegfeld Girls and pictures by Photogragher's such as Albert Arthur Allen.
Antique = 1840's - 1900. Risque Postcards and Daguerreotypes to name a few.
Now here's a new term for another era.
Rarity = 1985 to Present. Pictures, Video's and DVD's of model's WITHOUT Breast Implant's, Tattoo's and Piercing's all over the place! :D

Keltin's definition here about covers the one I've seen used on other forums dealing with the same kind of materiale, and I must say it works for me :-)
Except when it comes to images from British men's magazines where the retro erea is usually defined from 1960 to 1985 as these mags came into being a lot later than the American ones.

If I may intrude, altho admittedly a little late, I have always felt Classic is timeless, no boundry's in time. It is that which is so stunning, so strikingly beautiful or attractive that you look a little longer and really appreciate the feelings it creates either emotional or physical, and dates on calenders don't matter. It will last forever. IMHO.
