Welcome to MyArchives. Thanks, Labisse for your 7 posts and the accompanying photos. They are on topic. It is a very interesting collection and I want to thank you for sharing.

It is refreshing when a new member to the group becomes active immediately. All too often, many just lurk around grab a few pics and leave. Never really getting invoved enough to benefit from the divergence that makes the site what it is. One of the best vintage sites on the net.

That being said, IMHO, the repeated posts and the daily pics should have been submitted as gallery pics. The forums are primarily for discussion and pics are generally attached only to support that thread. Yours are directly related, but again the sheer quantity qualifies them better for a gallery post.

The galleries are designed to be the repository of pics on site. The galleries are set up into two broad general categories pre and post 1980, with alphabetical and other groupings with a variety of folders. More members view the galleries on a daily basis than those that view the forums. Posting this volume of pics in the forum is not the best way to share. Of course, it does require a lot less effort. When one makes a gallery post it is necessary to review not only the pics that a person has, but also the related gallery/ies or folder/folders. Yes, in case, a minimum of two folders might have to be reviewed, hairy and specific model. The reason for this are that in not only places them properly, but helps eliminate duplication. Without reviewing each pic, but based upon the file names, I would say that the majority are already here.

I do not want to be a wet blanket and cool your enthusiasm. As I stated, I applaud your efforts. I only make these comments to assist you in becoming a productive member of the group. I am not a moderator or administrator, I have no status other than being a member as you are. These are just my observations and suggestions. Again, welcome to the group.
