MA history

I know MA was launced about 2005, courtesy of Mr. Tiger.
Mr. Kevin is the current (excellent) Administrator, but I would like to know a little about MA history.

As I see in the "member-list" there are a lot of pioneers from the old times -
and I dare you people to speak about the past :smile:

Before I joined, I poked around a bit to find out more about MA and unearthed this from 2004:

Tiger is the site owner, i just poke around - I joined in 2006 a complete raw egg newbie http://www.myarchives.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=18978
Tiger and rabbit1 ran the site and then got some help from a couple of members notably winger who is still an active member today,
At one time the 80s were considered an outrage! :smile: Just goes to show that things move along.
I think we sometimes forget that MA is a free site and it is huge and i don't pay any bills, we have to thank Tiger for keeping it up and running - we have had the odd blip but for an old girl, she keeps on running. I enjoy what i do here as does TheZip and all the mods.

I remember the site before 2004. It had a small collection, perhaps 20 models and maybe a couple hundred pictures. It was almost impossible to navigate (This was before broadband), and had a couple thousand members.
