First of all, I would like say hello and just introduce myself to all the members here. I have just joined and am very impressed with the overall quality of this site.

Is anyone here familiar with Ann Ali, a beautiful darker-complexioned lady who was active around 1970? Specific questions I have:

What happened to her?
Where is she now?
What does she look like now?
What is her personality like?
Does she make appearances anywhere or meet fans?
Does anyone have contact information for her?

Thanks,
Frank

Welcome to the 'Club' - and yes it is great and continues to get better.

Anne has her own folder in the pre 1980s gallery - enjoy.

Frank,
I think all of us would like to know about many of the models of yesteryear, so few are still active. Charlie, one of our moderators, has had contact with a couple of gals (not Anne to my knowledge) and they have come back with the same answers about being involved todays market:
1. Want to get on with their lives and pretty much forget about this part of their lives
and
2. They were genuinely amazed that anyone remembered them or even cared.

The list is endless of the girls I would love to meet and talkm to and maybe someday some rich entrepeneur can put together a "glamour fest" featuring a bunch of these gals of the 60's/70's...until then, enjoy what we have here. For many years I thought I would not even see the pics of my faves of yesteryear ever again....now this shrine, this temple, if you will, is here for those who wish to kneel at the alter of retro gals of the past! Ogle away!

I've heard that, sometimes, they show up at "GlamourCon"...but, I take that with a grain of salt...a BIG grain, for that matter.

And, yes, due to the efforts of a few of the 'priests' here ( 'Master' Orvar, Phd, MrMr...you all know who you are ) we get that rare chance to obtain their workings of the past...film clips, films, photos...yes, this is the "Temple" for all of us to worship at!

Yes, we'd all like to know more. There are a lot of women who modeled once or twice and vanished; those like Ann who modeled more often, but disappeared; and those like Candy Samples, Michelle Angelo, or Kitten Natividad who have their own sites, or show up at Glamourcon or other shows, like Cynthia Meyers or Joyce Gibson, or some who do both.

I don't have a clue about Ann. The porn industry was big enough in the 1970s that there were people one would meet a lot, and people one would never meet.

The problem that shadowwolf alludes to is that each Glamourcon hypes itself with who "is expected" to show, but usually the biggest names don't. Recent Glamourcons have leaned more toward the Playboy models or ladies who feel it is necessary to merge with large quantities of silicone.
