"Call Tobor, the Eighth Man!" A Japanese anime cartoon from when I was a kid...loved it, although I cannot remember what the hell an "eighth man" was.

It is amazing that with my interest in sci-fi and growing up in a college town, that had 2 movie theaters, the weekend visits to the drive-in, and with the multitude of movie channels on satelitte or cable, that I never saw this movie. I would guess the release would have been after "Forbidden Planet" in the 60?
Then again, it could have been that release about the time I started to notice real vs. reel girls. Or is my "older than dirt" status the cause?:biggrin:
