This movie gives you a good insight in the evolution of erotic films. The history is well described along with lots of supporting footage. The last part of the movie is bonus footage with several movies/loops.
I must say I enjoyed this movie a lot. It gave me new info and understanding. And there were some new loops I hadn't seen before.

As U.S. adult films became more mainstream, they showed even less; in the late 1940s and 1950s, the striptease and fan dance gave rise to films of women fighting and women in bondage, often with little bare skin exposed. earliest adult movie was made is 1905-9............... first " films " were shown in cinemas across Europe............ then the Church stopped it all. The Victorians were the the original censors................. then " adult " material was hidden away. Fact " erotic " material has been around since man could draw on cave halls, censorship is a " modern " issue. What offends one person might not offend another............ True, PhD, the 1920's as mentioned is probably just meant in general as these movies are extremely rare and hard to come by.

I have seen several of the older movies. I think we even posted some here in the forums. They are being digitally processed as soon as they are discovered from old barns and hideaways.
