I've seen the numbers of members and visitors to this site and they're staggeringly high, yet I only see a few people actively posting pics and posting with one another. I wonder how many of these people are actually participating in the site or how many just logged in once or twice, downloaded to their hearts content and took off. I've always believed it was better to give than to receive :D

No doubt the statistics are somewhere to hand but in all groups there are the active participants and the sleeping members. This is probably one of the world's exceptionally rare ones with a steadily increasing membership.
Lets not forget, also, that for some this is only a stepping stone to the sponsors' pages and to those members who do move on in this way we owe a debt of gratitude for helping to keep the site up and running in its current format.

You are correct about that----Also many lurk for months before they feel comfortable posting---but the sponsor thing is the most important in keeping this site free. Just like in all aspects of life there are leaders and followers. Thanks to all of our Posters they are the leaders here.
