Shot at left--one of the best ever to my taste, of anyone.
How can this possibly have been lost??
Was a poster in the 70s I think. Distributed by
National Lampoon I think.
Have never found anything remaining but this thumbnail.
Anyone ever found it? Or could guess how to?--Samson

Go through '70s copies of National Lampoon. The picture on the left was in an ad for a big mail-order poster company. They also offered Raquel Welch, Starr Murphy and TV Mama. I believe they also had a joke version eith a paper bag over Arlene's head!

samson99,
Your VA VA VA VOOM picture can be found in full color (but not poster size) in the Gallery (without the words "VA VA VA VOOM"). At the present time, the picture is on page 1 (thumbnail #8 - click on the thumbnail to get the full size picture) of the Arlene Bell gallery in the pre-1980 section. Most likely there are other duplicates or "near duplicates" of this fantastic pose so scroll through her full gallery and enjoy, enjoy. By the way, I agree, this shot is "one of the best ever to my taste".

I had a copy of that poster on my bedroom wall when I was between wives. The second wife destroyed it. The marriage only lasted a year; I sure wish I'd dumped her and kept the poster!

Dear Lovin60s,
Thanks, I am gratified to hear that someone at there agrees this is a really exceptional shot. Also thanks for the tip, but--sadly--it's not really the same shot! It is obviously from the same sitting, a "near-duplicate," but I am admittedly abnormally picky and only want this one best and unaccountably vanished shot. Ugh! The shot you found is different in that for example a stray lock of hair floats over her left breast, and it together with the shadow it casts create an odd near-anorexic, bony-looking looking or scarred patch just above this breast. It is still a great picture but what I want is the other one.

At least my wife made me sell or get rid of my stuff, and didn't just destroy it. I feel for you, Charlie.
I had every Russ Meyer flick except for the early peepshows he made. I even painstakingly worked to get my VHS collection upgraded to DVD (bought from Japanese market) and now they're all gone. I'm amazed at how jealous women are. And, believe it or not, I mainly kept them around for historical and collector's value. I enjoyed his camera work immensely and his taste in women, but the subtext and social commentary held more value in my opinion.
So very sad...

Thank you, Sampson. That is the kind of detailed attention that I try to give every shot to try to tease out whatever information we can find at this late date.
Seriously good work you do!

Hi Samson99,
I just uploaded what I hope is the Arlene pic you're looking for in the Arlene gallery. Since I'm brand new here, I can't say how long it will take to show up. I first saw it in a Yes Art ad in the old NatLamp, and remember having to keep an eye out for a rather long time before finding it in one of the binaries groups. Wish like heck I remembered the original poster; all I can say for sure is that I'm very grateful to whoever it was!
Best,
S.

Dear Sasquatch
For the first time in my life I'm at a loss for words. That is the picture and
it is really as great as predicted from the nano-thumbnail. It is firstly somehow immeasurably finer than any other picture of Arlene Bell. Her tits look perfect but the best shots are not only about tits and probably it's her midsection and especially the perfect curves of her right hand side from this angle that make this so unique. Now there's also a lost picture of the excruciatingly sexy June Palmer that I'm dying for but I can't describe it except to say that she's sitting on a chair and is looking up! I'm afraid that's my own battle.......I'm very thankful to you for doing this.

Samson99,
My pleasure. Sorry I can't be much help with the June Palmer you're looking for, but your description of this Arlene pretty well sums it up for me as well.
(And I want to thank the moderator who removed the duplicate I inadvertently posted by brainlessly refreshing the original upload page--in the future, I'll try to pay closer attention!)

I know it's been a long time since your post, but is this the one that you're looking for?

AIR Fling had some "tiny-tiled spa" session poses that showed her figure as well or nearly as well as the "Va-va-voom" office shot.
