I’d like to take a moment to introduce to you all a quaint little gem of porn past. It was published by Brandon House in 1973 and is titled The Massage Palace
These types of wank books are almost always in bad taste—and not just in the sense of puritanical morals, but as compared to literature in general. They’re stereotypical and amazingly predictably. It’s not just bad writing, but deliciously bad writing. And despite it all they somehow still manage to be arousing. Probably has something to do with the gratuitous sex, but then again I’m no expert.
This story centers around—as the title would suggest—a massage parlor that specializes in happy endings. Luckily the plot is better than most of this genre. The author at least put some effort into coming up with a story that wasn’t just a paper thin excuse for various people to bone. I mean, it’s still thin, just not paper thin. The plot concerns a crime kingpin trying to take over the titular massage parlor. The independent owner, a headstrong black sister, vows not to be taken lightly, and the sex ensues. There’s also a sub plot concerning star-crossed lovers of the African variety, and of course, lots and lots of gratuitous sex—which is mostly what we read these things for anyway.
In going through the book I found a few typographical errors, which I’ve corrected in my reproduction. Such corrections are denoted by [brackets] in the texts attached below. Two formats are provided, plain text (.txt) and real text format (.rtf).

Download, read, and review if you’re so inclined. And if you see any blatant typos on my part (of which I’m sure there are plenty), please let me know so that I can make the corrections.
And most importantly, enjoy!
