I fully appreciate the mods problems, but when somebody (me) posts a pic (Nancy Roberts, today) and it is rejected just because it looks similar, I get a bit peeved. The subtle, but very important difference was that in the pic I posted she was turning her head more to the camera, and her HIGH HEELS were in full view.

Not important to the majority I suppose.

Heels, in these ladies of the 1960's, are very special to me.

My favorite part of the female body is a toss-up between the 'front deck' and the 'back porch'.

However, donside...I think I understand your problem here. Two very similar pictures; but, with subtle differences. Stuff that, I, in a passing glance, might not notice. But, to you, the coneussiour of that lady and Her poses...the differences are more profound. I've run into that problem in other locationss...many times. 3 different pictures, slight changes in the general poses...only one not rejected. Maybe if you pointed outh the changes in the pictures???

I don't know what else to say here...the Moderators are way over worked, under-payed ( do they get paid? Doubt it ) and rarely get a pat on the back from the rest of us peons. But, they are the ones running the show...and I will abide by their decisions. I may not agree with one or two of them...but, it's their bus...and they are the drivers.

what can happen is a different version of the same photo is posted - it may be smaller or cropped and deemed to be a repost, it could be what happened in this case.
Some time back the bigger folders were trawled through and most of the known models were put in their folders, so it's worth checking before you post.

I dunno. As both a poster and a mod, I'm often torn. It's a real pain to go through some of our folders (several have more than a thousand pics), and in studying several, I've noticed the kinds of subtle differences you mention. Also, sometimes there will be a low-rez, fogged pic and weeks or months later a hi-rez, clear version will be posted; in that case we keep both.

On the other hand, we have to discourage the "post 'em all" mentality. In the case of a couple of posters one of us will notice that a flood of some model will be posted in a newsgroup, so we can expect a flood from one or the other poster. At some point we have to thin the herd.

By the way, the mods get paid slightly less than the posters...

"By the way, the mods get paid slightly less than the posters".....which means doodly-squat.

This has been something every single one of us has wrestled with. We mean no disrespect to a poster when we do this, please, in the future, email the mods and then repost the pic so we can push it on through.

OK Lads. Good of you to take the time and trouble to explain things. Appreciated.
