Russian Rural Holiday (Classic 1970's )
One of the best Russian movies I have seen, well made with humour. The story of a young guy visiting a remote village for his holiday to escape his job
and town. An ordinary village is his destination, located in a remote rural area, but he discovers a lot of things that are not so ordinary... The locals are a
little more than friendly................. Well worth watching.

Appears to be a great movie from 001., but this part will only play with DIVX and the program will not open the other parts.
Any advice please?
Thanks.

Sorry to be a pain in the proverbial, but seeking more help. I have deleted original downloaded parts which were changed to DIVX.
Now will only download as DIVX and not as original. Not able to work this one out?

Anything from the 40's to 60's would be interesting, an age of very natural participants.

(Classic 1970's )
this is a joke right ? ...this one was shot in the late 90's or even 2000's !
Otherwise it is ok, it just lacks the originality and natural babes seen in the other real classics you uploaded (thanks for them!)

Are you seeing the same film as the rest of us?
These are as natural as any, especially when compared to the American females.
Sorry but this is the best feature film posted so far.

Honestly, I was wondering !.. Because in what I saw, the actresses look so much late 90's chicks (their body, hair, etc...), as for the clothings, etc.. But most of all, the "texture" of the picture is definitely not the one of a 70's movie: this one was shot likely with a digital camcorder....

You are absolutely right. This movie is from the late 90s the earliest. Why:
- there was no porn industry in the Soviet Union
- the cars at the start of the movie - you can see BMWs from the late 80's-early 90s'
- I live in Russia and I can tell you that the money the lady collects in the movie was introduced in 1998. There was a denomination then - 1000 rubles were exchanged for 1 new ruble. In the movie we have the new bills introduced in 1998 and used today. So this movie is made between 1998 and 2007.
if this movie is causing so much conflict.......... then let the mods delete it, for all the time I spent converting, uploading, posting etc, for me this is getting a pain.

PhD, did not want to upset you, definitely not ! Just like everyone here, I dig the stuff you upload. Just wanted to bring some accurate info about this movie only: this is just impossible it was shot in the 70's or even 80's. I mean, just visually, you can see it is very recent... But despite that, it is no big deal !

Please don't delete it, I am sure that there is no real conflict. I don't mind when it was made. It is still one of the best I have seen and from the comments a lot of people agree. Let's have more Russian movies.

I second the other members. I just wanted to clarify when the movie was made. And I believe style is more important that the exact year of production, so this movie does belong here.

I hate to be the proverbial "besserwisser" (for those not familiar with the word look here http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=besserwisser)
but the intro of the film give the timeline away:
- the amount of cars on the streets - not 70's
- the car makes (BMW's and such)
- the billboard for D+G (Dolce & Gabbana)
all lead away from Breschnew and point more toward Putin.
That said, thanks a million for sharing this flick with us!
