This collection begins with a short feature showing how a bevy of 1950s beauties reacts to a peeping Tom in their locker room. It’s a pretty sight. Mexican pepper-pot Tanya Murrieta soon shows up to steal the show, but she finds strong challengers in springboard star Donna Watkins and a pair of outdoor beauties. But there were always chores to be done, so Alice forsakes frivolity to do a little carpentry and to churn some ice cream. Fortunately she’s followed by Virginia “Ding Dong” Bell and Jennie “The Bazoom Girl” Lee, who keep things light. A series of 1960s films follows, exhibiting blondes, brunettes, and redheads, a few eye-popping bouffants among them. We return to the ’50s for a peek at the top-heavy twosome of Kathy Suits and Cherry Knight, and to see Eleanor Stooks wreak surprising havoc with her bow and arrow. The send-off scene is a kitschy 1960s swingers party.
