Ok this has happend to me many times. I have dile-up and it takes me a long time to dowload things. What codacs shold i get and where do i get them?.

Not quite sure if you mean downloading from a movie link or an image from the galleries--dial up is pretty slow, i have a reasonably fast broadband and sometimes downloading a movie can take a while--depending on how busy the file share site is and your download speed.

When someone posts a rar from one of those shareing sites like in the movie section i can't play it because i don't have the right codec?.

Then why do you not download the codec that you need ---just google it ---

You can also get a more versatile video player. The best I've ever seen is Videolan, also called vlc player. It plays *everything*. You can get a free download if you google either of those terms.
Another player I'd reccomend is Media Player Classic; it's one of the most powerful (and it's completely free).
